Canadian International Program

 

Our International Program is taught completely in English by Western teachers.  The Canadian curriculum used in the classroom was written and is continuously updated by the province of Manitoba Education and Advanced Learning Department. Clifford School is certificated by the Guangdong Education Department, qualifying us to enroll expatriate students as well as those from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

 

 

 

Canadian High School Diploma

 

Our graduates earn an internationally-recognized Canadian diploma, issued by the government of the province of Manitoba. 

 

This diploma provides our graduates with a pathway to Canadian universities and to top universities in the US, the UK, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, and around the world.

Elementary School: Grades 1 to 5

 

Homeroom teachers instruct the students in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Specialist teachers provide instruction in Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, Computers, Library, and Mandarin.

 

The international elementary program follows the curriculum developed by Manitoba Education and Training.

 

 

Middle School: Grade 6 to 8

 

Beginning in grade 6, students take all of their courses from specialist teachers. Their four core classes continue to be English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Students also take Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, Computers, Drama, and Mandarin.

 

The international middle school program follows the curriculum developed by Manitoba Education and Training.

 

 

High School: Grade 9 to 12

 

To graduate, students must pass 30 classes during their four years in high school. These courses are a combination of required courses such as ELA, Math, Sciences, Humanities, and Physical Education, and option courses, including the arts, business, information and technology, and Advanced Placement (AP) classes.
